Thanks for stopping by. So first things first, I wanna make it clear that if you're looking for the same old thing for your photography needs this probably isn't where you want to look. There are plenty of other talented photographers out there that take care of that already. The other thing I'll say briefly is this, if you're just looking for a price list to click on, shoot on down to #2 below and then come back up here later.

BUT HOLD ON, DON'T LEAVE YET!....Because if you want something more dynamic, fun and different then we need to talk. If we work together, you ABSOLUTLY get professional photos, service and all the other things you would expect when hiring a professional of any sort. The difference is what the photo shoot itself will be like, and therefore the resulting photos. This process should be FUN. It's all about capturing the best time and memories you can have. We will have fun shooting and you will have fun picking your favorites and sharing them, that's my guarantee. Lets talk about just a couple of the differences you can expect.

1. You won't be coming to a studio. Again, there are plenty of places that cater to traditional set ups if that's what you need. What you will get instead is me coming to you. Why? Because you don't live, hang out or have special memories of a studio. Instead, our session will be at a location(s) that have meaning to you. Is there a really cool piece of architecture at your place you wanna show off? Is there a special park where you and your kids have spent tons of time and created special memories? How about an activity you have a passion for? Have you ever seen your self enjoying that pursuit in anything more than a friend's cell phone shot? Curious what your intense facial expression is when you're hitting that perfect golf shot? Whatever or wherever that special place or thing is, that's going to be the setting for some spectacular, high quality pictures you will treasure and show off. What about traditional portraits? Absolutely we can and will do that BUT, what if we also included (as an example): Your child in their cap and gown in a standard portrait shot. Well then you can both have that awesome graduation memory forever. BUT what if that photo shoot also included the new grad skateboarding at their favorite park in their cap and gown. Now both of you will have a set of pics you can't wait to show off.

I will meet briefly with each client to discuss the specifics, then the fun begins! This does not mean you will only have a bunch of crazy photos that look unprofessional. More on that below.

2. I wont sell you a package of photos. "What? How am I supposed to enjoy all these great photos", you say? Well, I want to make that as simple and affordable for you as possible. Every photographer or "mall studio" does this differently. What you can expect from me is an upfront fee for the shoot. The fee varies by location, time, distance and other factors. If you want me to shoot you scaling Grandfather Mountain, we can do it, but expect to pay a bit more. Generally, the up front costs are going to be from $100 to $250. Here is where the real difference lies, great pics are not worth much if you can't see or share them. I leave that choice completely up to you.

After your session, generally with in 5-7 days you will be given a link to the website. It will be password protected so only you can access it. This is your proof gallery. In this gallery, you will find thumbnail files of all the shots you can choose from. They will have had any basic retouching already applied to them so you will know exactly what you're getting. If you want further editing of anything specific (Godzilla chasing you during your Grandfather mountain climb) we can do that too. Actually Godzilla is Trademarked and I cant add him, but I can add "grandfatherzilla", you get the point. Once you've decided on the photos you want, I will place the order with a professional photo lab that is just amazing.

Prints are made on true photographic paper. Several paper types, photo books, mounting, and framing services are available. We will discuss exactly is right for your particular photos.

They offer multiple print sizes*, paper options, etc. They also offer framing services and lots of other fun stuff to put your new favorite picture on. Once your order is placed, the turn around time will vary based on several factors like print type number of prints etc. As soon as the order arrives I will arrange a time to deliver them to you. This is my favorite part of photography, having people see their pictures for the first time and being amazed. If your not amazed, then my guarantee is that I will fix whatever issue arises. That's my commitment, that simple.

A standard practice in the photography business is that the photographer owns the right to the actual photos unless the rights are purchased. This is done directly with the photographer and it gets a little more complicated and expensive than buying a nice print to hang over your fireplace, so those options would be something we would discuss in person.

3. Your input matters. I can run the whole shoot and set every single shot and idea...if you want. BUT, remember, this is supposed to be fun and I'm not going to tell you that any idea you want to try is out of the question. If we are shooting an activity that you are passionate about you can always tell me what the most important part that should be captured. Left up to me, I will make it look nice, I promise. It will be as artistic as it should be. BUT, if I miss the super special "grandfatherzilla proof" boots you're wearing that you wanted to show off, then the shot won't be as cool as you think it should be. You will always be included in the decisions, because it's your photo shoot after all.

4. None of this means you will end up with a bunch of weird photos that you can't use. I say all of the things above at the possible expense of people thinking this is some off the wall operation and they're not going to get any real useful photo product in the end. This is certainly not the case. Don't think you won't get what are considered professional quality, conventional portrait or action photos. They will just be captured in a way that the smile on your face is 100% real and not from just "Saying Cheese". You'll be able to tell the difference right away, and when you see the finished product you'll be amazed, that's my guarantee.

Take a look around the different galleries at your leisure. Keep in mind, most of these photographs are kind of "generic" subjects. Photoshoots for individuals won't actually been seen here by the general public unless they give permission.

After you've browsed, check the contact link, book a shoot and let's start having some fun!

*All photos are individually limited in the size they can be enlarged for technical reasons. However most will be available to be printed quite large if you wish. You may wish to discuss with me any specific size requests prior to the shoot so I can do everything possible to make any particular shot "posterizable".
